TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

By agreeing to work with Becky Skidmore, Skidmore Destinations LLC, Travelmation - Becky Skidmore, Travelmation Independent Travel Consultant (“ITC”), Skidmore Travel, and Skidmoretravel.com (referred to as either “the Agent”, “We”, “Us”, "I" or “Our” in this Agreement) you (“You”, "Your" refers to the individual accessing, initiating, or using the Service) agree to be bound by the terms set forth in this Agreement, as well as any additional terms and conditions imposed by applicable third-party suppliers. The lead passenger — defined as the individual initiating the booking — assumes full responsibility for communicating these Terms and Conditions to all members of their travel party, including the timely remittance of all amounts due. Each passenger is individually responsible for reading these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. The Agency reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions of Service at any time without prior notice. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Service be deemed unacceptable, you are strongly advised to refrain from engaging the Agency's travel services.

1.  CONSENT TO CONTACT
The Travel Inquiry form is hosted by a third party provider, Travel Joy ( https://traveljoy.com). By submitting a Travel Inquiry Form you expressly authorize the Agency to contact you via email, telephone, or text message.

2.  SCOPE OF SERVICES
​The Agency acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, car rental companies, and other travel-related vendors.The Agency provides travel planning and advisory services, which include, but are not limited to:

• Creation of customized travel itineraries
• Booking of flights, accommodations, and activities
• Recommendation of travel insurance options
• Assistance with passport-related inquiries

Where the Agency has arranged services on your behalf, your contractual relationship is directly with the third-party supplier. The Agency's liability is limited to the exercise of reasonable skill and care in the selection and arrangement of those services. We are not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any third-party supplier.

3.  CONSULTING FEES
Travel planning requires substantial time and effort in advance of any departure date. Accordingly, the Agency maintains a fee structure to compensate for time devoted to initial consultation, research, and proposal development. Any applicable consulting fee will be communicated to the client prior to proposal delivery and will be charged upon delivery of said proposal, regardless of whether the client proceeds with a booking. In the event that the client does book a trip, the consulting fee shall be applied toward travel support and booking services. All consulting fees are non-refundable. The Agency may also receive commission from trip suppliers.

4.  PRICING AND PAYMENTS
​All travel services and pricing on skidmoretravel.com are sourced from independent third-party suppliers. Prices shown are estimates only and may change without notice. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking.
Payments and Deposits
All prices are subject to availability and may change until a deposit is received and vendor confirmation is obtained. Resort bookings are price-guaranteed upon deposit; airfare is not guaranteed until paid in full. Sandals Resorts final payments are processed automatically — all other payments are handled manually.
No reservation is considered final until the client receives written confirmation from the agency or an authorized team member. Deposits must be submitted by 5:00 PM Eastern Time to secure travel arrangements. Payments are typically processed within 72 hours of receipt unless otherwise noted.

6.  TRAVEL INSURANCE
The Agency strongly advises all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Declining travel insurance means accepting full responsibility for any financial loss that may occur due to cancellation, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen events. By Declining travel insurance you acknowledge that I have advised you of the potential risks involved and that You take full responsibility for any financial loss that may occur due to cancellation, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen events.  In addition, The Agency, as booking agents under Travelmation, assumes no responsibility for any costs or losses arising from travel disruptions, cancellations, or complications related to COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances.

7.  PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS
Many countries require that a passport remain valid for a minimum of six (6) months beyond the traveler’s date of entry. Failure to meet this requirement may result in denial of boarding by the carrier or refusal of entry at immigration. All passengers must ensure that the names used when making reservations correspond exactly to the names as they appear in their passports.

By completing a booking, each passenger agrees to comply with all applicable passport requirements and accepts sole financial responsibility for any associated expenses. Changes or cancellations may result in fees imposed by hotels, airlines, resorts, or insurers. The Agency, as booking agents under Travelmation, accepts no liability for any costs so incurred.

Agency Disclaimer: While the Agency may provide general guidance or information on travel document requirements as a courtesy, such information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Requirements are subject to change frequently and without notice, and remain beyond the Agency's control. The Agency is not responsible for any Traveler being denied boarding, entry, or exit, or for any losses, costs, or damages resulting from incomplete, invalid, or missing travel documentation. All travelers should verify all requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government authority.

8.  TRAVEL ADVISORIES DOMESTIC AND ABROAD
The Agency will endeavor to inform clients of known travel requirements — including COVID-19 protocols, passport regulations, and airline or cruise line policies — at the time of booking. Notwithstanding the foregoing, each passenger bears sole responsibility for satisfying all applicable entry and exit requirements and for monitoring any mandates regarding vaccination status or health-related travel policies. 

The Agency strongly urges all Travelers to consult and comply with official government travel advisories (e.g., U.S. Department of State Travel Advisories, UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) before and during travel. Traveling to destinations under an active advisory is done at the Traveler's own risk. The Agency disclaims all liability arising from travel to such destinations.

Client Safety Abroad - Travelers venturing abroad are strongly encouraged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), a free service provided by the U.S. Department of State. Enrollment allows the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate to contact you in the event of an emergency, whether personal or arising from unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, civil unrest, or family crises back home. STEP also ensures that you receive the latest travel advisories, alerts, and safety information for your destination country, enabling you to make informed decisions throughout your journey. In the interest of your safety and well-being, Travelmation strongly recommends that all clients traveling internationally take advantage of this valuable program prior to departure.

9.  FORCE MAJEURE
"Force Majeure” refers to any circumstance beyond the Agency’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God; explosion; flood; severe weather; fire or accident; war or threat of war, whether declared or undeclared; acts of terrorism; sabotage; insurrection; civil disturbance or riots; labor strikes; illness; epidemics or pandemics; government-imposed quarantines or interventions; defects in machinery or vehicles; travel delays; or any other unforeseeable event. In the occurrence of a Force Majeure event, the Agency shall not be deemed in breach of these Terms and Conditions, shall not be liable to the client, and shall not be obligated to provide any refund. The Agency and its travel suppliers reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to modify or cancel any itinerary or travel arrangement affected by a Force Majeure event.
